There are four known methods of unskewing a Mental/personal [Spell Matrix](that is, one you have due to a [Talent]). * Natural unskewing: A [Spell Matrix] will go from [Skew] X to [Skew] X-1(min 0) in X seconds. This means a Matrix with [Skew] 5 will be at 4 after 5 seconds and at [Skew] 0 (no [Skew]) after 15 seconds. * Quick unskewing: A [Spellcaster] may concentrate( a full second action) to make a [Spell Matrix] go from [Skew] X to [Skew] X-1(min 0) in one second. This means a Matrix with [Skew] 5 will be at 4 after 1 second of concentration and at no [Skew] after 5 seconds of concentration. (if you are at one [Skew] don't bother and do something else useful while your matrix naturally unskews its last point) * Forced unskewing: A [Spellcaster] may make a [Threadweaving]-X roll to reduce the [Skew] of a [Spell Matrix] to zero, where X is the current skewage of the matrix. Failure means that the [Spell Matrix] becomes a [Collapsed Spell Matrix] and thus is no longer usable for [Spellcasting]. Forced unskewing takes a second of concentration. The [Threadweaving] [Talent] used must be the same type as that of the spell in the matrix. * Instant unskewing: Exactly as Forced unskewing, except that it is instantaneous and risks collapsing *all* of the magician's matrices.
