T'Karish Jaanz, [Seeker]
(of Truth, Justice, and interesting shiny things)
Physical Description: A young, athletic t'skrang with an easy grin. Reasonably
tall, with a single head crest, brown-flecked amber eyes, and a mottled scale pattern of deep brown and dark green on olive. She usually has a whip hanging from her belt and a pack on her back, and can often be found poking her nose someplace it isn't supposed to be.

Born in the caer, climbing around getting into trouble from when she
was little. Well-behaved, but anything designed to keep kids out acted
more like a giant sign reading "Interesting Things Here". Her favorite
question was "Why?", and she never stopped asking it. She found one of
the Seeker masters in her route through the caer asking everyone
questions, and discovered that _this_ big person had _cool_
answers. Training started off by making the little one think about her
responses in order to get answers, progressing on to book references
and scavenger hunts. Scavenger hunts are a big part of seeker
training, and fun, too-- the master would give the apprentice an item
to find or a piece of information that he needed, and the apprentice
would have not not merely find that item, but find information about
where that item was, acquire it, and frequently acquire more items or
information from other places in order to find the final goal.
T'karish also spent a lot of time in the library studying, of course;
the librarians all thought the seekers were weird, but that's ok. They have
no sense of fun, not their fault.
When the caer moved into the water tunnels, I asked too many questions about
what was going on and why. The council didn't appreciate it. Oops.
