A measure of disruption in a [Spell Matrix]. Each [Spell Matrix] has a Skew value associated with it. Metaphysically, Skew is a measure of the distortion of a spell [Pattern] in the Matrix due to the energy used to cast the spell. Skew applies a penalty equal to its value to any roll to successfuly cast the spell in the associated [Spell Matrix], as well as to the Spellcasting roll for finesse in the casting. Skew can be reduced using one of several [Unskewing Methods].
