Please feel free to pull spells out of GURPS Magic, GURPS Grimoire, Earthdawn, Earthdawn Companion, Earthdawn Magic: A Manual of Mystic Secrets. If you want spells out of the CodexArcanum, please let me know. I'm starting work on a SpellDesign system; please don't expect it to work in-game, but go ahead and try to break it. Players may note that occasionally there are deviations from these systems in special cases. Don't assume you understand another's magic or mechanic.
