Two weeks ago we had a somewhat slow and frustrating Shadowrun...  I
missed the first portion, so if someone wants to fill in on what
happened, I'd appreciate it.

Run started back at HQ; we discussed a series of vivid shared dreams
many of us had recently, and discussed what to do when the three young
shrimp shamans we had in custody woke up.

Eventually woke them up and interrogated them for a while.  They asked
to leave.  Eventually a huge cluster-fuck ensued, when they tried to
leave, with help from some of us, and others of us tried to stop them;
a fight ensued, during which one of them got shot with a stunner, and
another bashed her head against a wall and sustained severe damage
from quick casting of a powerful spell, which injured <Jen>.

<tmack> planted a tracker on one of them, and we called docwagon in to
deal with the badly injured one, and took the others to the hospital
to visit her, and left them there.

When we all got back to HQ, we discussed (or perhaps argued is a
better word) what led to the fight.  In an attempt to learn more about
the sword we had gotten at the shrimp werehouse, <karat> hypnotized
Tom (<ariel>) into regressing into her dream.  He woke up with the
personality, knowledge, and apparently skills of K'shrik.  He told us
that the sword was part of a powerful prophesy; it is called
"Purifier's Twin" and was intended ot be a powerful weapon against the
Horrors, but was tainted, as was the hero that was supposed to wield
it.  The hero was supposed to be purified and return at the end of the
scourge and take it up and cleanse it and wield it against the
Horrors; apparently the fact that it was held by something evil
portends great suckage...  Run broke with Tom still being mentally
K'shrik and refusing to be hypnotized back; not sure how long we will
have K'shrik here.

The kids were apparently brainwashed; they believed that the shrimp
spirits were little plush dolls, and the weapons were shooting happy
shrimp rays...

Also discovered that all elements of the previous run pointed to the
same corp; Lemuria HE, a minor megacorp, which owned the Shrimp
werehouse, drilled the oil that the toxic spirit was leaking, built
the TVs and produced the program that the kids were watching when this
all started, and so on...
