We got back to the office, and Fox recapped what happened at the shrimp shack. Then we started trying to analyze the dreams.

Kianna did a spell on the sword, and found that it had a special kind of magic. The sword wasn't originally evil, but the wielder is. It's not alive, but it has qualities that are, and it is quite Tainted.

Upon hearing that, Tom decided that we needed to play Pictionary as "a test of creativity", so we played. It was fun, but seemed a little weird to do in the middle of a serious discussion. Then we got back to business, pondering what the Wormskull might have meant by "See you when the Sun falls" The Kitsune cast some sort of "detect magic" spell on the sword: There are two spirits inside, one a former Namegiver. It hits really accurately, effectively, damaging, is easy to draw, is a loyal "dancing" weapon, targets specific < somethings > can mind control people around it, and can trap you "if you do the wrong thing".

We decided to put the sword into the basement, under surveillance, and the Arlix wanted to remove the trapped souls from the sword, but that will take a while. We got the children set up in a room with blankets, pillows, and I.V.s, and Kianna healed Jill. Adrienne, Dana and I sat down to wait.

In the morning, we asked Scotty what had happened.
We were watching "Timmy the Magic Shrimp" in Macy's, when Fisherman Bill came out of the screen and gave us magic Timmy dolls. Timmy summoned his friends to fight the Evil Clamlords The Bubba Gump Shrimp Company? We were playing coybows, riding on the shrimp dolls, and then we were playing hide and seek, and ... I didn't see... They went somewhere."

We gave them back their amulets, and they asked to leave, but as we were letting them out, the kitsune started chanting and summoned a HUGE earth elemental blocking the path. While Dana and Adrienne argued with the kitsune, while I moved the kids into a lab. Arlix followed us, demanding that the kids relinquish their medallions. I walked off to the common room, following Kianna, as Alpha came over the loudspeaker
LET THEM GO!
Clear a path and let them go.
Really. Let them go NOW
Jill and Mark were in the hall, unconsious, with Sarah screaming. Tom took Sarah aside to comfort her, and we asked Alpha what had happened. "Jill took a swing at Peter and missed, but everyone jumped on her, and Adrienne tackled her into a wall. A nasty spell hit Adrienne, leaving her curled up in the corner and Jill bleeding out her eyes." We called DocWagon, and they took Jill and Scotty to MGH. Tom, Kianna and I drove Mark and Sarah there, left our business card and phone number, and went home. Sarah was quite convinced that Jill would be just fine in a few hours. We returned home to Alpha's lecture on what a serious $%#$up this was...
