The party talks a lot and decides that we're going to scout this side of Camrish, then go by the caer entrance and towards the north. The south side of the river is deserted but seems to have the same crystal. Most of the buildings are ruined, but there are still some metal tracks here where minecarts might once have been. Thwak claims there is a man on a hill watching Camrish from across the river, to the North. The party managed to get across the river, and Kenisha returned. She found "Stuart", an ork cavalryman from Camrish, whom we decided to go greet. He introduced himself as Evall the Black, of the West Hills Tribe. He invited our party to dine with them. While Kenisha went to scout Camrish, the rest of us went back to the Kaer entrance. The boat is still on fire and the caer cavern is caved in--other than that, all is as it was. Kenisha reported back to the party that Camrish is starving, the fields are underworked, and Gilad, Thwak and Steven are wanted for "poisoning the youth" We burned some time, taught T'.. Myrkridia, and then went to dinner with the West Hills Tribe. Apparently they were given most of the grain from the city, which was poisoned. They don't seem to know who the people are in the gibbetts. Steven gives T'karish the "Money Lecture" We investigate the grain, which appears to (once upon a time) have been affected by magic, but now it appears to be pretty-much fine. Or maybe not. T'Karish managed to get herself poisoned by the fungus introduced into the poison grain, thereby alerting us that the grain was infected. Steven determined that it was probably artificially introduced, sometime between right before they left Travar or right after they left Camrish. We took a wide berth around Camrish, and went through the swamp on the river road, camping for the night in the swamp (with no sign of mosquitos). T'Karish thinks the particular way in which the grain was poisoned is someone's trademark. We went walking past the "abandoned" village, which is now full of humans (cadavers and some cultists). They have a shrine in one part of the village to a wyrm-head thing. There is also a gecko minor horror whose terror effect made us all run away (and turned Gilad into a drooling idiot). We ran away and off to investigate the T'skrang Kaer horror. Kenisha discovered that the war canoe had one of the door-closing "Please stop for a minute. We're going to be the new, nice party. Not dead. Nice. Chant with me. Ommm" -Thwak to Gilad We found Frakt, trying to leave the tower, running off with a "petrified dragon's egg". He explained that the people of Talan are dragon-worshippers, and he was sent by the Oracle to wait for the tower door to open. Thwak went in. Kenisha went in. Gilad went in with a rope around his waist and Steven behind him. He turned to stone and fell through the stairs. oops. Steven, through heroic effort, managed to turn him back.
