We spend about an hour trying to organize and arm the party. There are arguments about nukes, combat drugs, and who is doing what. The elves offer to drop us in the common, and say that they'll know when the portal closes. We are dropped into the common. It is about 3 am, and the common is mostly quiet, althought there is a DD that looks like it's a checkpoint for police. Jonathan moves into the sewers, following the beacon on the sword and one of the pendulii that the Ambassador gave us. A minute or so later, the rest of the party heads into the T tunnel. We immediately engage two wraiths (Laurel and Hardy) in battle. One, as soon as it sees us, turns and starts moving further into the tunnel. Barton takes off after it, and the rest of the party moves to attack. The closer wraith suddenly looks *VERY SCARY* Dana and I both ran towards it and Dargo froze. Barton and Tristan are both now chasing the runaway wraiths. Tristan manages to smack the wraith with it's quarterstaff and it falls down and then vanishes. I tried to run to the wraith and push Dana out of the way. Yeah, right. She's between me and the wraith. I snap out of being afraid when I realize "Wait, that's magic" and aim the hand flamer at the wraith. Tom hits it with his plasma rifle, but it doesn't seem to help, so I holster my gun and flying tackle the wraith. We start falling down the stairs. Barton moves over and chops it with a sword, and that wraith also dies, leaving it's flaming cloak behind We move forward , further into the tunnels. We made it down into the museum section of Park Street Station, Barton shoots gas grenades down the stairs, and we all go down there. Wow, does Barton move fast. He triggers a land mine and falls over, but seems to be fine. Then he gets up and gets hit with 2 battle lasers. Those don't seem to bother him much. Tristan arrives just in time to get hit by three concussion grenades, but dodges into the train track trench. The rest of us try to avoid the fragmentation, and all seem to manage. There is some exchange of gunfire back there. I move over next to the entrance of the hole and pop-up around the corner with my flamethrower and flame the orks, the grenades and some other stuff. I dodge into the trench, shouting "grenades! dodge" and Dargo follows. The hole/tunnel is full of dust, and we can't see it "I shout "Common Sense People" and then slash into close combat four times" -tommy <thud> <thud> <thud> there is a scary thing coming down the hall. The combined bodies of the three flaming dead orks, in a giant roiling mass. <FREAK!> I flipped out and started running down the train trench. Tristan shouted "It's not real!" but then it punched him and knocked him over. Tom tried to disbelieve it, but that didn't seem to work. *Barton and Dargo are both in hand to hand combat with the monster. Barton tries to dive over it, then between it's legs and tie it into a knot. "I am a skyraider. I feel no pain nothing can defeat me. I am a skyraider. I feel no pain nothing can defeat me. I am a skyraider. I feel no pain nothing can defeat me." then I fall on my butt. --Tommy We spend about 10 minutes talking softly and resting, and then move through the burning tunnel. Tom shores it up with some instawall. We move into some rough caves which are really really really dark and empty. I can't see a damn thing, but I try to aim at the sound with my tangler. I fire, just as Barton fired flash grenades, illuminating a wraith and 8 undead in chainmail with axes. The wraith seems to be dripping liquid on the floor. Barton moved forward, past the guys, and Dana shoots needles at them. I tangled it again, and then dropped to a crouch and drew my hand flamer. I aimed, as the undead ran towards us and tried to tackle us. It is speaking. *Turn Back Intruders... for I am General of Uncounted Legions.* *your time is passed! We shall return to conquer the sunlit lands!"* The undead exploded in the flame-lightning spell, and then the whole party did. A good chunk of the party is unconsious now, and Tristain is given a suspend capule. Thenm Dana wakes up and first-aids as many of us as she can
