We sat down in our hotel toom to try to figure out how to separate from the Tangerines. 

Jonathan and I both think that walking in and being honest will be enough.  

Tristian walked in and Dargo decked him.  Kianna drew her stunner, and Arlix flying-tackled Dargo
Dargo dropped Arlix, and 

We argued a lot about whom we were calling. Tom, Arlix, Kianna and I went to go call A'.  

He said *"okay, I'll get back to you"*

Almost as soon as we hung up the phone, 
we started arguing about whether Alpha had said for us to call the Ambassador or not. After like five minutes of bickering, we tried calling him back.

"This is Alpha.  I'm on a more secure line now. What's going on?" 

Tom hung up the phone, apparently because he didn't believe that it was really Alpha Prime.  He decided that the hotel phone must be full of bugs, or something like that, so he and Kianna went to get a cellphone, while I called the Ambassador from a pay phone. The pay phone didn't *seem* any cleaner, or less likely to attract bugs, 
*(especially with the number of candy wrappers and gum wads in the phone booth)  but at least it's safer to talk on than a room phone, where people might be listening. 

I called the Ambassador and talked to  his secretary, "Hi.  It's Aleia.   We need to sit down and talk with the Ambassador in person."

"May I ask why?"

"Um... about things that we shouldn't talk about on a  public phone"

"All right. I'll dispatch a boat to meet you at the usual dock at 3:00"

Tom and Kianna went to buy some stuff, while Tristain made a warded space to try to heal himself. I asked him questions about what he was doing, and learned a little about his magic. 

We started talking more about whether we should be angry or just say "we've been blackmailed,  we're sorry".  

Kianna said that reminding them that they owe us and they screwed up a lot is good,  but being angry isn't a good idea.

I'm not sure that telling the Elves that they owe us is all that good an idea. I think we ought to go talk to them, but ... we should be careful to not make them mad if we can.

We went off to the T, and started walking over to the dock.  I tried to come up with a song that was appropriate to traveling and boats, but I didn't think of one =( so I sang anyway. Tom elbowed me and Kianna asked me to be quiet, so I stopped and was pouting.  We got to the dock... no boat. 

Kianna and Koda were looking at something in the sky, and then something went "clank clank" next to us. It looks like a Dr Pepper can. I move towards it, curiously. Arlix picked it up. It's a Dr Pepper can.

Suddenly there are three beams from the corner of the building (which none of us see) and most of the party falls unconsious

three went limp.  Tom woke up Dana with a stim patch, and Koda, Tristain and 
Jonathan are missing, apparently having been kidnapped.  dex, health, 
strength go up by 1, then another one, then another one, then another one. 
from the weird gas.  Tom started poking at the eggs, and Dargo punched him. 
He didn't fall unconsious.  </i>

Kianna and I woke up and said "What the hell just happened"

People in shiny white plasticine armor with a red cross across the front come off the boat with big guns. Behind them are people with black bags. 

*"Tir Tangir special forces. You order a pizza?"*

*"Yes, but it took you more than 30 minutes" *

*"Damn, not again"8

Dargo warned them about the dust, and they put on respirators before helping us. "Jonathan, Koda and Tristain got kidnapped" (according to Dargo).  The medics bundled us up, injected us with drugs to counter the nerve gas, and put us on the boat.  

"Dargo, who were the bad guys"?  

"Unknown. Three self-terminated before I could get to them, one got away. We're on the ferry, probably to Tir Taingire.  I doubt we're going to be able to find the others on our own"


I sit down and start crying.

Dargo thinks this has something to do with Ireland.

"I don't think Talshara would have acted this fast" 

He and I talk for a while, he tells me that he was going to resign, he had given 2 weeks to Tristain.  

Dana lost contact with Koda, which means she might have gone into the Netherworld.  

I tried to go outside, but the guys with big guns said "You need to go back inside, miss.  The water's looking back these days, we can't adequately protect you unless you're inside"

The weirdness with wl/int and dex/ht/str wore off, and now I try to do Emotion Song: calm (with billy Joel songs, and a story about 2 elves, a troll, and an old engineer going on a boat ride to Nantucket to have a nice picnic)

Dargo started singing folk songs.

We are escorted off the vote, Dana went into the netherworld.  

I asked to meet with Sage Tapantasa, and Tom gives me a look that really says "not now". I say "it can wait" and he tells me "Well, then it probably wasn't worth bothering him with, was it?"

We go into the Netherworld via the normal gate, but Dana still can't find her

We went to A's monolith, where we plot-dumped on him.
