The party starts at the amusement park, with several party members Out Of It. They wake up Trowa, and eventually Varan. Trowa and Varan figure out how their axes work. The turn on Ten Magistrate Eyes, Air Dragon Sight, Spirit Detecting Glance, All Encompassing Sorcerer's Sight, and some Infrared optics. Then they enter the tunnels, up near the faux-Indian campsite. They make it through the first 200' or so, then meet some vines. Flame works even when it's immaterial. They continue down to the pond with the truck parts, and determine their cargo beds have been removed. Continuing to explore, they find a forking tunnel into the deeps. Chucking plasma grenades ahead of themselves, they blow up most of the vine here. At the end of the tunnel is a several-yard geode, now shattered by grenades. It is (was) a natural demesne, focusing Essence to feed the vine. Exploring more tunnels, the party finds --- an electronic gizmo nestled up in a collection of vines. Behind that... another geode, also an Essence lens. Smaller this time, but with a big thorny root bulb in the middle. Varan chops it open with his Force Axe, then flames the soft pulpy part inside. The other tunnels are similar --- the highest has a proto-geode buried under potting soil with a human heart. Further investigating shows that the Bad Guys took the stuff away in cargo hovercraft, over to the train station. The PCs follow, steal some trucks, and drive at ludicrous speeds after them. They catch up, Varan jetpacks over to the front bad-guy-truck while Zance Irresistibly Puppeteers the driver of the back bad-guy-truck. The party recovers its employees from the Rent-A-Horde and the non-military artifacts from the European Archaeological Dig. There are still a dozen or so people who fled from the trucks (a faster truck, maybe?) towards the airport, presumably with the combat-useful artifacts. Next run: chasing down the Bad Guys with the Stolen Daiklaves, and maybe Wiping Out the Big Bads. Here is 14 XP to the party. "Hm. A menacing looking rock formation. But it's dead now!
