* 1 cup all-purpose flour * 2 tbs white sugar * 2 tbs baking powder * 1 tsp salt * 1 egg, beaten * 1 cup milk * 2 tbs vegetable oil 1. In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, salt. Make a well in the center, pour in milk, egg, and oil. Mix until smooth. 2. Heat a lightly oiled griddle or frying pan over medium-high heat. Pour or scoop the batter onto the griddle, using approximately 1/4 cup for each pancake. Brown on both sides, serve hot.
