The SpiritPower is a new magical power use in dealing with [Spirit]s. It has a basic cost of 10 points per level, and has four sub-powers. In addition, the spirit power must be taken with a SpiritSpecialization. SummonSpirit is used to call spirits to the caster, and costs 4 points per level. It only affects the SpiritTypes in the SpiritSpecialization. CommandSpirit is used to control spirits, to convince them to do tasks for the caster, and to wrest control away from other casters. It costs 4 points per level. It only affects the SpiritTypes in the SpiritSpecialization. BanishSpirit is used to disrupt spirits, forcefully sending them back to wherever it is they came from (usually the spirit's home MetaPlane). It is more effective against the SpiritTypes in the SpiritSpecialization. InvokeSpirit is used to temporarily aspect an area around the caster to a particular spirit type. This makes summoning thay type of spirit easier, but banishing it harder, and may have other effects. It costs two points per level, and only affects the SpiritTypes in the SpiritSpecialization. [Spirits] interact strangely with many magical powers. A good rule of thumb is that when affecting a spirit with another magical power, the lesser of the SpiritPower and the active power is the effective power of the spell. For more details, see [Spirit]s. There are also some [Advantages] associated with the SpiritPower, most notably SpiritPatron and SpiritWarrior, and some special SpiritPowerEnhancementsAndLimitations.
